Sophia Uribe

I was born in Barranquilla, Colombia, and moved to Las Vegas at a young age, where I have lived ever since. In late 2021, I graduated from UNLV with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and a minor in Criminal Justice. After graduation, I worked at a pediatric therapy facility as a Care Coordinator, where I had the privilege of helping coordinate a variety of therapeutic services for children and their families. I found great fulfillment in supporting those families and am excited to continue similar meaningful work here at Nevada Mental Health. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with loved ones, watching shows and movies, and reading. I’m also an avid concertgoer, which occasionally takes me traveling to new states and exploring new places.
