Sid Khurana, M.D., FAPA

Dr. Khurana is board certified from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in General Psychiatry and board certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He completed his residency and fellowship at the University of Virginia where he served as Chief Fellow for the division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. His research interests include autism spectrum disorders, tourette’s disorder, and ADHD. He specializes in the treatment of bipolar disorder, PTSD, and anxiety problems. Dr. Khurana practices using the bio-psychosocial model of psychiatric disorders and applies elements of the cognitive behavioral approach during his medication management visits.

Timothy Jeider, M.D.

Timothy Jeider, MD is a double boarded psychiatrist with specialized training in child and adolescent psychiatry. Dr. Jeider graduated from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Loma Linda California, and then went on to General Psychiatry Residency at LSU in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. From there, he relocated to Las Vegas, where he completed his Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at UNLV. During his time at UNLV, he served as the Fellowship’s Chief Fellow. Since completing his training, he has been serving the Las Vegas community in a number of roles. His direct patient care roles include caring for pediatric populations at residential treatment homes, a partial hospitalization program, and intensive outpatient care program. Additionally, he cares for pediatric and adult patients in general outpatient psychiatric clinic. His volunteer hours are spent as a member of the Clark County Children’s Mental Health Consortium.

Syed Quadri

Dr. Quadri earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from University of Illinois Chicago. After graduating, he attended medical school at St. James School of Medicine, while earning a master’s degree in public health. Dr. Quadri continued his education at University of Kansas School of Medicine where he completed 3 years of psychiatry training and has been published in various psychiatric journals.
While serving as a chief fellow at UNLV, he was involved in child mental advocacy and Clark county child mental health consortium. He is also involved in the national mental health advocacy liaison network. Has a key interest in treating children with neurodevelopmental disorders.
He loves to try new restaurants in the Las Vegas area. He also loves traveling for adventure and frequently hikes Red Rock Canyon with his wife on the weekends.

Tyler Hill, D.O

Dr. Tyler Hill, DO is board certified from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in General Psychiatry with specialized training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He completed his general psychiatry residency at John Peter Smith in Fort Worth, Texas where he served as House Staff President. After completing his general psychiatry training, he completed Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV where he served as chief fellow. Dr. Hill specializes in treatment of children and teenagers of all ages. He is family oriented and spends his free time with his wife and 3 kids.

Amanda King

Dr. King is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. King completed her General Psychiatry Residency at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. She went on to complete her Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at New York University. Dr. King specializes in mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma related disorders, behavioral disorders, and ADHD. Dr. King works primarily with adults, children, and families via telehealth services. In her free-time, Dr. King enjoys long walks with her dog, listening to true crime podcasts, and the occasional group workout class.

Daniyal Iqbal
Resident Psychiatrist
Dr. Iqbal earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior at the University of California, Davis. He attended medical school at the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific, at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA. He is currently a third-year psychiatry resident at UNLV.

Bradley Goodson, M.D., FAPA

Dr. Bradley Goodson is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in General Psychiatry and board certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He completed his general psychiatry residency at the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Las Vegas, Nevada. Dr. Goodson completed his child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Following his training, Dr. Goodson relocated to Fayetteville, Arkansas, where he served as Medical Director at the Schmieding Developmental Center at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). While at UAMS, Dr. Goodson specialized in the treatment of children and teenagers with complex medical conditions and varying neurodevelopmental disorders. Dr. Goodson specializes in the treatment of anxiety disorders, mood disorders, autism spectrum disorder, and ADHD. He enjoys providing care via telehealth services.
When away from work, Dr. Goodson enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, and traveling.
Kenney Vu, D.O.

He graduated from medical school at Touro University Nevada and went on to complete his general psychiatry residency at HCA Florida Largo Hospital. In his spare time, Dr. Vu enjoys spending time with his family, looking for new music, or learning something new.
Samantha Vu, D.O.

Dr. Vu is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in General Psychiatry. She graduated from medical school at Touro University Nevada and went on to complete her general psychiatry residency at HCA Florida Largo Hospital. In her spare time, Dr. Vu can be found checking out the newest boba tea shop in town.

Sean Elder, APRN, PMHNP-BC
PSYCHIATRIC NURSE practitioner
Sean Elder, APRN is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the University of Arizona. From 2009 until 2014, he worked as an inpatient RN at the Vermont State Hospital and in the psychiatric unit of the University of Vermont Medical Center. He received his Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Vermont.
Since moving to Las Vegas, NV in 2014, Mr. Elder has worked for Southern Nevada Adult Mental Health Services providing treatment for clients with a wide change of mental health issues. He believes in a recovery model of care, where the clients are the authority on their life and concealed strengths can be uncovered to help them meet the current problems in their life.
In addition to his case load at the community mental health clinic, Mr. Elder has experience collaborating with mental health teams that serve special populations. He has provided medication management and education for young adults and their families as part of a coordinated specialty care program for clients with first episode psychosis. He has also worked closely with a psychiatrist to provide medication management for a Program of Assertive Community Treatment (PACT), which is an intensive outpatient treatment program to assist clients with severe and persistent mental health disorders.
Mr. Elder enjoys precepting APRN students and he takes pride in preparing future nurse practitioners.

Alexa Carrozza, RN, MSN, PMHNP-BC, CCHP-MH
Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Alexa Carrozza is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, with training and expertise treating patients with psychiatric disorders across the lifespan and across various practice settings. Her education includes a Master of Science in Nursing, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner specialization, from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
She is passionate about providing quality, evidence-based, comprehensive focus to care, including psychotherapy and prescribing mental health medications, for children, adolescents, and adults. Alexa possesses strong clinical skills enhanced by natural ability to build rapport with patients and families.

Alma Spears
Therapist
Alma Spears is a nontraditional therapist who incorporates various treatment styles in order to meet the individual needs of each client. Alma is fluent in Spanish, an immigrant, and a social justice advocate.
Alma has always wanted to be a child advocate and, for most of her educational career, she thought that meant law school. Her experience working with youth and families in a transitional housing program helped her realize that she had a natural ability to build relationships with people who have experienced trauma. That triggered her pursuit of a clinical degree, resulting in being a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in trauma.
