Dr. Sapan Khurana

Dr. Khurana is board certified from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in General Psychiatry and board certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He completed his residency and fellowship at the University of Virginia where he served as Chief Fellow for the division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. His research interests include autism spectrum disorders, tourette’s disorder, and ADHD. He specializes in the treatment of bipolar disorder, PTSD, and anxiety problems. Dr. Khurana practices using the bio-psychosocial model of psychiatric disorders and applies elements of the cognitive behavioral approach during his medication management visits.

Dr. Timothy Jeider

Timothy Jeider, MD is a double boarded psychiatrist with specialized training in child and adolescent psychiatry. Dr. Jeider graduated from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Loma Linda California, and then went on to General Psychiatry Residency at LSU in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. From there, he relocated to Las Vegas, where he completed his Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at UNLV. During his time at UNLV, he served as the Fellowship’s Chief Fellow. Since completing his training, he has been serving the Las Vegas community in a number of roles. His direct patient care roles include caring for pediatric populations at residential treatment homes, a partial hospitalization program, and intensive outpatient care program. Additionally, he cares for pediatric and adult patients in general outpatient psychiatric clinic. His volunteer hours are spent as a member of the Clark County Children’s Mental Health Consortium.

Asma Farooq, M.D.


Dr. Farooq was born and raised in Pakistan. There she pursued her dream of becoming a physician. After graduating medical school in Pakistan, she began volunteer work caring for underserved children in Western-Africa (Ghana) as well as applying her skills practicing Internal Medicine. From there she came to the United States to pursue specialty training in General Psychiatry at University of Nevada Las Vegas. During residency, she continued her work with children with specialized experiences with UNLV’s Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship rotations sites.  

Dr. Farooq continues her professional growth as a respected member of the American Psychiatric Association and Nevada Psychiatric Association Society. Being a proud mother, she has a personal calling to Reproductive Psychiatry and helping other women through their journey in motherhood. She has a particular interest in Perinatal Mental Health, including prenatal and postpartum mood disorders. 

Dr. Farooq has come to call Las Vegas her home and she is proud to be serving Nevada where she strives to bring a safe, stable, healthy life to those suffering with mental health illness.
