Nevada Mental Health Expands Integrative Mental Health Care

Published On: July 8, 2026Last Updated: June 29, 2026

Nevada Mental Health is expanding integrative mental health care, an exciting step that will help the team break down barriers between psychiatric care and timely physical health support.

This expansion aligns with Nevada Mental Health’s mission of providing thoughtful, patient-centered mental health care while recognizing that emotional wellness and physical health are often deeply connected.

A More Connected Approach to Care

Integrative mental health care helps the care team look beyond symptoms in isolation, considering sleep, medical history, medications, labs, preventive care, and other physical health factors that can affect mood, focus, energy, and treatment response.

As part of this expansion, Nevada Mental Health intends to offer same-day or same-week access to services such as EKGs, point-of-care labs, physical exams, basic health checks, and care coordination when appropriate. These services can help the team expedite next steps and minimize delays in care.

Patients may also be able to receive timely support for routine health needs such as sports physicals, vaccinations, and cold or flu concerns, helping reduce unnecessary urgent care visits when those needs can be appropriately addressed through the integrative care model.

Supporting the Whole Patient

This is not intended to replace established primary care relationships. For patients who already have a primary care provider, integrative care is designed to supplement that relationship with immediate, as-needed access to services that can support mental health treatment and overall wellness.

For patients who do not currently have primary care, the Nevada Mental Health team can help evaluate whether the integrative care model is an appropriate fit or whether dedicated primary care would better meet their needs, with referrals available when needed.

Patients who are interested in integrative mental health care can contact Nevada Mental Health to learn whether this support is appropriate for their needs.
