Vanessa B. Mariasis, PMHNP-BC

Vanessa B. Mariasis is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, with extensive experience providing compassionate care at inpatient psychiatric hospitals as a registered nurse prior to joining Nevada Mental Health. Originally from the Washington, D.C. area, she received her Master of Science in Nursing from The George Washington University, specializing in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner studies. Vanessa also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Marymount University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Bates College. Vanessa is committed to providing comprehensive and holistic mental health care to individuals across the lifespan. Her empathetic and approachable manner ensures each person receives tailored care that meets their specific needs. Vanessa believes in the importance of building strong therapeutic relationships through open communication. She fosters a supportive, safe and non-judgmental environment, empowering patients to take an active role in their mental health journey. Outside of the clinic, Vanessa enjoys spin classes, hiking and volunteering.
