Colin Freedman, M.D.

Dr. Freedman was born and raised in Las Vegas and is proud to call the city his home. He graduated from UNR School of Medicine in 2017 and then completed residency in General Psychiatry with UNLV School of Medicine. The idea of intervening early to positively impact the trajectory of lives always appealed to Dr. Freedman motivating him to complete a two-year fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry also with UNLV School of Medicine. Following graduation, Dr. Freedman served as the medical director of the child and adolescent psychiatric acute unit at the Pavilion and as adjunct faculty for the HCA psychiatry residency program before stepping away to focus more on his outpatient practice. Dr. Freedman continues to enjoy teaching and is an adjunct faculty for the child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at UNLV School of Medicine. While Dr. Freedman has trained and practiced in multiple clinical settings, he is currently seeing patients in his outpatient clinic. In his free time, Dr. Freedman enjoys spending time with his family, cheering on the Golden Knights and taking his golden doodle for long walks.
